Nara Jinja Kon is one of the few studios that pairs an actual Shinto wedding ceremony at a UNESCO-listed shrine with the kimono pre-wedding photography in a single ¥198,000 package — Kasuga Taisha (the World Heritage shrine inside Nara Park) and Ōmiwa Shrine (one of Japan's oldest, in the Sakurai foothills).

The fee covers white shiromuku or iro-uchikake, hair and makeup, dressing, the shrine ceremony attendance, photography, all edited data, and an album. No surcharges by kimono choice or photo count. For couples whose itinerary already includes a Nara day, this collapses what would otherwise be three separate vendor relationships (kimono rental, shrine paperwork, photographer) into one inquiry.

What's included in a kimono pre-wedding shoot

Session length: Usually 1.5–3 hours on location; half-day and multi-location packages run longer.
Kimono & outfits: One outfit is normally included. A second change — for example a white shiromuku plus a colourful iro-uchikake — is a common add-on.
Hair, make-up & dressing: Traditional styling, professional dressing (kitsuke) and, where needed, a wig (katsura). Included in most full packages, an add-on in lighter ones.
Delivered photos: Commonly 20–100+ retouched images depending on the plan; some studios also offer all the raw data.
Location & permits: The studio arranges the shoot location. Shrine, temple or garden permit fees are frequently billed separately.
